I am in the process of developing Mrua:
translocal residencies for artists, curators and dance-makers
Mrua offers the space for Translocal Engagement
- putting the local issues in a global context and making it widely accessable through the internet, through live channel feed and web platforms
Mrua invites artists and curators across the disciplines to partake in this residency, and as Maria Kerin is a transdisciplinary artist working through merging contemporary dance with her visual arts process, dance- makers are also very welcome.
Mentoring is offered SOURCED THROUGH EMBODIMENT
in the rural domestic setting of her home, Luisne, Monreal North, Ennistymon, Co.Clare as an extension of her creative practice: USING PRESENCE AND EMBODIMENT FOR CLEARLY LISTENING and engaging with others.

Residencies:
Liquid artist group from Estonia were our invited guests for a week in August 2011 while they took part in the Power of Local festival in Ennistymon. Ongoing collaborations have developed and they are returning in July 2012 to continue working here.

Supporting her Work in progress: Vocal process being developed with a group 17th-18th Dec, by hosting a supper and providing the studio space with the right conditions sensitive to the work being explored.
